Slow into Autumn
Cacao, Movement and Deep Rest Mini Retreat
Saturday, 29th of August, from 10am to 2pm
The Barn, Hidden Acres, Malahide
“This is not just a nice wellness event in Dublin. It's a morning of meaningful self-care that will feel like a week's rest”
Leave your shoes and your worries at the door!
After a friendly welcome and a cup of tea, we'll open the retreat with a guided cacao ceremony, move into slow, intuitive movement and breathwork, and close with a long, restorative rest and head massage. You can disconnect from the world outside, tune inwards, and be surrounded by beautiful female energy.
ArriveCeremonial Cacao and Meditation
We'll begin our mini-retreat with a guided opening cacao ceremony, using ceremonial-grade cacao from the Irish company Saoró.
A cacao ceremony is a guided ritual to help you slow down, connect inward, and set a personal intention. Sipped mindfully in stillness, cacao is known for its gentle, calming effect on the nervous system — a good way to prepare the body and mind for what comes next.
Facilitated by Karen McLaughlin, artist and Ceremonial Guide.
SettleStretch, Breathe and Connect
Once we've shared our cacao and set our intentions, Ana will guide you through a gentle movement and breath-work practice to stretch your body from head to toe and feel completely one with your body. The movement is inclusive, accessible and suitable for everyBODY. The relaxations are long and the breath-work will help you forget about the world outside.
After the movement we will enjoy some beautiful organic teas, healthy delicious treats and chats in the garden.
Facilitated by Ana Stefan - Founder of Vitéra and Wellbeing Coach
MeltFloat and Let Go
The last part of our retreat is a restorative practice. To close, we'll settle into a deep, supported relaxation with the help of blocks, bolsters, blankets and lavender eye pillows. As you get comfortable, Agne will move through the space offering a gentle, intuitive head massage to quiet the mind and soothe the nervous system.
Leave feeling taller, more open, completely relaxed, in tune with your body, grateful, and knowing rest is not something you have to earn — it's something you deserve.
Facilitated by Ana & Agne Vaicekauske Therapist and Skin Expert

This was my first time to attend a Vitéra event. Ana has curated a very talented team, of extremely creative and original thinkers. Every detail has been perfectly planned, from beginning to end. It has been a while since I have enjoyed a yoga class so much, Ana is the sort of teacher you search for, totally authentic and caring. I felt energised, and totally at ease by the end of class. A perfect day!

I went into this mini-retreat not knowing what to expect I was met with a hug and that instantly put me at ease. It was a gorgeous morning for self care the meditation and movement were exactly what I needed and beautifully presented. It felt extremely safe and warm the space to let go and just be in the moment. Will definitely be attending more of Vitéra's events.

I absolutely enjoyed every moment of this mini- retreat, with perfect schedule, gorgeous movement and stunning venue. Ana’s attention to details is incredible, she truly cares about everyone and I wish more people could experience days where they can connect with each other, show love to their bodies and leave more grounded and in peace. Can’t wait to join another retreat with Ana!

FAQs
Do I need any yoga or movement experience?
1
Not at all. The movement is gentle, inclusive and suitable for everyBODY, whatever your experience, body type or fitness level. Our facilitators will guide you throughout and always offer options for different bodies and abilities.
What should I wear?
2
Something comfortable you can move in — layers are a good idea, as you'll want to be warm and cosy during the restorative practice at the end.

Just yourself. We provide yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, blocks and eye pillows for the restorative session, water and snacks.
Is there parking at Hidden Acres?
4
There is limited parking at the venue, but you can park next door at the Garden House. We will send you an email with more details one week before the event.
